we work with our beneficiaries (mostly women) to create the chicken projects in order to teach them business skills and increase their income. once the women become financially literate, it allows them to remain business owners so that their children can receive the education they deserve and families can obtain sufficient access to food and nutrition. More than 20 of our beneficiaries rear an average of 30 chickens. to-date, three out of five of the groups are completely financially sustainable.
